About us

Le Conseil des Organismes Francophones de la Région de Durham (COFRD) est un organisme à but non lucratif qui joue un rôle clé dans le développement communautaire francophone de la région.

Active, visible and engaged, the COFRD brings together and celebrates the Francophonie through a varied offer of services, programs, workshops and cultural activities, designed to meet the needs of Francophones

The COFRD also acts as a umbrella organization, bringing together 31 member Francophone organizations, promoting consultation, collaboration and the enhanceme

Centre d'Emploi Francophone de Durham (CEFD)

A Francophone employment hub that promotes the professional integration of Francophones in the Durham region through personalized support, resources and employment support activities.

Services dedicated to the reception and integration of Francophone newcomers: TÉÉ – Support for school integration of newly arrived students DISPLAYS – Support for social integration and understanding of Canadian society Community settlement – Orientation and support to facilitate settlement and integration into the local Francophone community.

Un service d’information sur la justice civile destiné aux particuliers, couvrant notamment les domaines suivants : • Famille • Logement • Travail • Consommation • Contrats.
Le service informe également sur les sanctions possibles, les recours, ainsi que les modes alternatifs de résolution des conflits (médiation, arbitrage).

A wide selection of cards for all occasions.

Photocopies and faxes

Services offered at low cost.

Computer repair

Affordable computer repair service in French.

St-Albert cheese retail outlet

Delivery to COFRD once every two months according to orders received.
